Kenwood NX-5200 / NX-5300 / NX-5400 portable radios are NEXEDGE® multi-band, multi-protocol digital and analog radios designed for organizations that require advanced security, flexibility, and high-capacity communications in the field. Supporting VHF, UHF, and 700/800 MHz bands, these radios are well suited for public safety, utilities, transportation, and large multi-agency operations.
These radios support digital and analog operation along with Digital DMR mode, allowing interoperability across a wide range of systems and deployment environments. With capacity for up to 1024 channels across 128 zones (expandable with higher-capacity options), the NX-5200 / NX-5300 / NX-5400 are built to scale with growing fleets and complex operational needs.
Advanced P25 features such as Over-the-Air Re-Keying (OTAR) and Over-the-Air Programming (OTAP) enhance security and simplify fleet management by enabling secure updates without removing radios from service.
